Nordic ID RF601

Nordic ID RF601 is a part of a unique wireless data collection system. The system consists of radio handsets that are used to communicate with the host system via base stations using an efficient communication protocol. The host system can be just a PC or a more complex computer system. The application software runs on the host system. This eliminates the need to program the Nordic ID RF601 handheld units. It also makes software development and updating extremely flexible.

The Nordic ID RF601 features a large and clear display with an illuminated screen that is easy to read even in poor conditions. Robust buttons are made of wear resistant rubber silicone. RF601 is designed to fit into your palm. It is also made to last. The drop test shows that the Nordic ID RF601 can survive a fall from one metre on to a concrete floor with flying colours.

The Nordic ID RF651 series is a data collection system based on Bluetooth technology, which is a worldwide standard. Whether it is a production line, sales outlet or a warehouse, the powerful and secure Bluetooth will extend the company data system to where the employees need it. For instance, should the customer need extra product information, the sales assistant will be able to have the information displayed on the clear Nordic ID RF651 screen by merely scanning the barcode.

Today, numerous companies are using a Nordic ID data transmission system. It is used to monitor inventories and to reserve tables at restaurants, or in courier companies to keep an eye on goods in transit. This means that performing a stocktake, product amounts can be directly registered in the stock accounting application - wirelessly and in realtime, using the handheld unit.
